For over ten years, Korean Kids and Orphanage Outreach Mission (KKOOM) has impacted hundreds of orphans in South Korea by providing education and outreach programs to make their lives a little brighter. Our signature event is our annual Christmas Party every December at Samsungwon Orphanage in Gumi and Emmanuel’s Children Home in Gimcheon, South Korea. Each year, we spread Christmas cheer to approximately 150 children by giving a gift.
You are invited to help KKOOM celebrate Christmas in July! The holidays are a special time of year with loved ones, family, and friends, and with your help, many kids at orphanages in South Korea also look to them as a bright spot in the year. Each year, KKOOM gives children at orphanages in South Korea Christmas presents and fun memories at our annual Christmas parties, and the kids say they look forward to this all year long.
That is why we’re beating the summer heat by starting our early planning for our festive winter KKOOM Christmas parties. You can help spread the jolly Christmas spirit into the hearts of South Korean orphans today. A donation of $35 ensures a child at an orphanage in South Korea will receive a gift during the Christmas season, but donations in any amount are welcomed and greatly appreciated. This July, our goal is to raise $3,500 to provide gifts to 100 children. Donors who give $35 or more this July will receive a Christmas card and picture from a child at an orphanage in Korea. Pictures and cards will be sent in January after the KKOOM Christmas parties.
We hope you will help us kick-start the “most wonderful time of the year.”
