Oak Tree Project, one of KKOOM's partner organizations, is hosting a race in Seoul on October 20th to raise scholarship money for Korean orphans. The scholarship provides mentoring opportunities for young adults throughout their collegiate career. Thank you BTS One In An ARMY for sending letters of love and support to orphan children in South Korea! KKOOM received 238 letters from 30+ people from 17 countries who wrote letters, postcards and notes. This was a month-long campaign in August 2018 to raise money and write letters in honor of BTS member Jungkook’s birthday. There is power in the small things 💥 Towson University in Maryland held their annual “Feast of Nations” for new Honor students at their student orientation. This year, they showcased East Asian food while sharing about KKOOM’s mission. They asked students to donate about $1 for the dinner. Selling handmade bracelets and through donations, they raised $123 for KKOOM! Their donation will help support our Welcome Boost Fund that allows a newly arrived orphan child to receive clothing and basic necessities. ... See more
