On September 26, 2007, KKOOM was founded as an extension of a volunteer project that started in 2004 by Fulbright English Teachers at Samsungwon Children’s Home. Thanks to their efforts, KKOOM is celebrating 15 years of being a sustainable and thriving non-profit organization that has impacted thousands of children and aged-out adults from Korea’s social welfare system.
September 2022 marks the beginning of a year-long celebration for our 15th Anniversary. In the upcoming months, you will hear about KKOOM’s core values, see branding updates, and we will start growing our programming initiatives as we increase our impact in South Korea. We will also share impactful stories of hundreds of lives we have served since 2007. On behalf of all of the children and young adults we serve, thank you for being a part of the KKOOM family to further our mission of improving the lives of Korean youth through outreach and education.
